Our beginners & foundations muay thai classes are designed for those who are new to the sport and want to learn the fundamentals from the ground up.

We focus on teaching proper technique, footwork, and basic combinations in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Our experienced instructors will guide you through each step, ensuring that you build a strong foundation in Muay Thai.

Whether you’re looking to get fit or learn self-defence, our classes are the perfect starting point for your journey.

There is no sparring in this class and very limited contact as this creates safety when learning for the first time.

What you will learn:

  • Various defence techniques example catching kicks, blocking punches and checking
  • Various striking techniques punching, kicking and kneeing
  • Basic clinching
  • Pad holding
  • Light fitness for warm ups

Intermediate Muay Thai classes are designed for individuals who have already mastered the basics and are looking to take their skills to the next level. In these classes, students will learn more advanced techniques and participate in sparring drills to improve their overall proficiency in the sport. These classes are perfect for those who are committed to expanding their skillset and want to take their Muay Thai abilities to a higher level of expertise.

  • Adult classes only 17 years of age +
  • Beginners & Foundations Muay Thai class experience or previous Muay Thai experience

 

Women’s muay thai classes provide a supportive and comfortable environment for women to learn the fundamentals of this martial art.

These classes are specifically designed for women who may be new to muay thai and want to start from the basics. In this female-friendly setting, women can feel empowered and confident as they develop their skills and strength. It’s a great opportunity for women to learn self-defense, improve their fitness, and be part of a supportive community.

  • Light fitness for warm up
  • Female trainer

Requirements

  • No experience needed
  • No sparring or contact in this class
  • Teens 14 + welcome

The idea of an open Muay Thai class for all levels of practitioners is a great way for everyone to train together and learn from each other.

However, it is important that participants have a basic level of Muay Thai skills in order to participate safely and effectively.

This ensures that everyone in the class can follow along and benefit from the training. It also creates a supportive environment where individuals can challenge themselves and grow their skills.

Requirements

  • Adult classes only 17 years of age +
  • Beginners & Foundations Muay Thai class minimum of 5 class experience or previous Muay Thai experience

The all levels sparring class is designed to provide a diverse and challenging experience for the client. By allowing individuals of all levels to train and spar together, participants have the opportunity to learn from a variety of styles and techniques. This inclusive approach not only fosters a sense of community within the gym, but also enables individuals to expand their skills and adapt to different fighting styles, ultimately becoming more well-rounded martial artists.

Requirements

  • Beginners to Intermediate Muay Thai level classes required
  • 16 years of age +
  • The following equipment must be worn during this class
    • mouth guard
    • shin pads
    • 16oz gloves

The Fighter class is an exclusive, invite-only program designed for individuals who have displayed exceptional skill, dedication, and commitment in their training.

In order to be considered for this class, students must exhibit a mastery of techniques, a high level of physical fitness, and a strong understanding of martial arts principles.

This class is reserved for those who have proven themselves to be dedicated and disciplined practitioners in their martial arts journey.

CHILDRENS MUAY THAI CLASSES

Muay Thai is a great way for kids to stay active while developing valuable life skills. Give your future champions the opportunity to thrive both physically and mentally with junior Muay Thai classes.

  • Ages 4 years of age – 11 years of age
  • Beginners level class

Teens Muay Thai classes are a fantastic way for young people to learn the art of Muay Thai, improve their fitness, and build strong friendships. Through training and practicing Muay Thai together, teens can cultivate discipline, determination, and mental strength. In addition to the physical benefits, these classes offer a supportive environment where teenagers can connect with others who share similar interests and goals.

What you will learn:

  • Various defence techniques example catching kicks, blocking punches and checking
  • Various striking techniques punching, kicking and kneeing
  • Basic – advanced levels of clinching
  • Pad holding
  • Sparring drills and light sparring
  • Fitness circuits
  • Fun games


Requirements

  • 12 years of age to 16 years of age
  • Beginners level class
  • No experience needed

The juniors sparring class is an invaluable opportunity for our young students to apply their skills in a controlled, supportive environment.

It allows them to test their techniques and strategies that they have been learning in regular classes throughout the week.

This practical experience helps them to gain confidence, develop their problem-solving abilities, and learn how to adapt and think on their feet.

  • Junior classes need to be completed before attending
  • Equipment supplied
  • No contact to the head
  • 4 years of age up to 13 years of age
